Simon Mure received the 2017 IRIS Inspection Machines prize

On June 21, 2017, Simon Mure received the 2017 IRIS Inspection Machines prize awarded by the association des amis de l'université de Lyon for his PhD defended on December 2, 2016 entitled: Unsupervised classification of multidimensional spatio-temporal data. Applications to imaging.

This prize rewards a student from a teaching and research institution at the University of Lyon in the fields of optics, signal processing and image processing.

Simon Mure prepared his PhD at the CREATIS laboratory under the supervision of Hugues Benoit-Cattin and Thomas Grenier. He joined the Hubert Curien laboratory at the beginning of January 2017 within the Image Science and Computer Vision team. His work focuses on the development of mean-shift based methods for spatio-temporal data clustering. His results were applied in particular on MRI images for the study of multiple sclerosis.
