PETRA - Radiative Tests

PETRA - Experimental Platform for Radiative Tests

PETRA (Experimental Platform for Radiation Tests) brings together our lab’s irradiation and radiation testing equipment. It is built around three X-ray irradiation installations that enable in-operando testing of materials, components and systems, across a wide temperature range (-120 to +400 °C) and under controlled atmospheric conditions.

PETRA is a shared internal resource that is also open to external users from the public and private sectors.
