Investments for the Future programme (PIA) Projects
CERTYF (2017 - 2022) | |||
MOPERE was coordinating the CERTYF (Combined effects of radiation, temperature and hydrogen on optical fibres and silica-based materials) project. CERTYF was a fundamental research project with the aim of improving the understanding of the basic mechanisms governing the degradation of optical fibers in complex environments combining the following stresses: temperature (ambient temp. - 300°C), radiation (doses up to the order of MGy) and hydrogen. Partners: UJM, Univ. Côte d’Azur, IRSN (ANDRA as Topic Manager)
CAMRAD (2016 – 2022) | |||
MOPERE was member of the CAMRAD (High-performance radiation-hardened imaging system for in-situ characterization of nuclear waste) project lead by ISAE SUPAERO. The industrial research project, CAMRAD, seeked to develop and test, under real conditions, a high-performance (color camera, high sensitivity and high resolution) imaging system that is resistant to ionizing radiation (over 1MGy) for characterizing nuclear waste and general use in the nuclear industry. Partners: ISAE SUPAERO, ORANO, CEA DAM, IRSN, OPTSYS (ANDRA as Topic Manager)
SURFIN (2017 – 2022) | |||
MOPERE was member of the SURFIN (New materials for the monitoring by fiber optics of nuclear facilities) project lead by University of Lille. SURFIN aims to characterize new luminescent vitreous materials, based on doped silica (intentional implantation of some elements to modify the properties of optical fibers), and to implement them in fiber solutions for in situ dosimetry of different radiation environments (X, γ, …). Partners: Univ. Lille, Univ. Côte d’Azur, Univ. Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne, UJM, (ANDRA as Topic Manager)
udd@ORANO (2021 – 2025)
udd@Orano (pour Usines De Demain sur les sites industriels d’Orano) is a development project designed to accelerate the deployment of the factory of the future at the heart of the Group's industrial sites. Coordinated by Orano, this 36-month project brings together 11 industrial partners: 6 SMEs (Aeraccess, Axionable, Diota, Ob'dO, Shark Robotics, Sileane), 2 large companies (Predict, Probayes) and 3 research organizations (CEA, Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne and Université Jean Monnet de Saint-Etienne).
